Glacier sponsored Team Overdrive of Aberdeen Grammar School has topped the Scottish Regional finals score board to make the finals of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) competition based on the F1.

F1 in Schools is a global, multi-disciplinary challenge in which teams of students aged nine to 19 to design an F1 car of the future using CAD software, to the specifications set by the International Rules Committee just like in Formula One™.

The challenge is designed to inspire students to use IT to learn about physics, aerodynamics, design, manufacture, branding, graphics, sponsorship, marketing, leadership/teamwork, media skills and financial strategy, and apply them in a practical, imaginative, competitive and exciting ways.
